Beauty Professionals and Customers

When a customer books a professional, we may provide the professional with information reasonably necessary to manage and provide the appointment.

Likewise, customers may see information professionals intentionally make public through their BeautyDex profiles, including professional names, portfolio content, services, pricing, availability, reviews, and relevant service-location information.

Service Providers

We may use third-party companies to provide infrastructure and services such as:

• Hosting and database infrastructure
• Authentication
• Payment processing
• Email delivery
• Communications
• Mapping and location services
• Security
• Error monitoring and technical operations

These providers may process information on our behalf to perform their services.

Professionals should not upload information or content they do not want displayed publicly.

BeautyDex may allow users and professionals to submit photographs, portfolio images, reviews, profile information, and other content.

Content intended for public portions of BeautyDex may be visible to other users and should not contain personal information that you do not want publicly disclosed.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business and transaction records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.

Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails through the unsubscribe link included in those messages.

Opting out of marketing communications does not prevent us from sending transactional messages necessary to operate your account or manage bookings.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

BeautyDex and the service providers necessary to operate our website and Services may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for essential functions such as maintaining sessions, authentication, security, preferences, and basic technical operation.

BeautyDex does not currently use third-party advertising pixels or behavioral advertising trackers.

If our use of analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies changes, we may update this Privacy Policy and provide additional choices or notices where required.

11. Children's Privacy

BeautyDex is not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in a manner not permitted by applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Users who are at least 13 but have not reached the age of majority where they live should use BeautyDex with the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian where appropriate.
